Founder Payton Stark started this music campaign because he saw the lack of education and direction that he and other burgeoning musicians had access to. Bloggers giving advice seemed disingenuous and unhelpful. He also wanted to help reignite the Milwaukee music scene and get it to its full potential again. Having a father who was part of the music scene in the ‘80s and after starting his own group, he wanted to change all of this and introduce “I CAN START A BAND TOO".
